  • born in 1964 in Warsaw,
  • 01.10.1983 – beginning of studies at the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Electronics,
  • 15.03.1988 – first employment (engineer in the Institute of Mathematical Machines),
  • 29.09.1988 – graduated with M.Sc. in electronics,
  • 30.09.1989 – employed at VIGO Ltd.
  • 19.04.1990 – employed at the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Electronics,
  • 01.10.1992 – first lectures (“One-chip microcontrollers and their applications”),
  • 13.06.1995 – Ph.D. in the field of electronics obtained from alma mater,
  • 01.10.1995 – employed at the position of assistant professor,
  • 08.1996 – first book printed, all 5000 copies sold in about two years,
  • 01.07.1996-30.06.1997 – visiting associate professor at NIME (National Institute of Multimedia Education), Makuhari, Japan
  • 12.2000 – started teaching courses on project management as a freelancer hired by IBM (participants from IBM, Philips, PKO, BGŻ, Intelligo, PZU, Prudential, Prokom, Computerland, etc.)
  • 01.10.2002 – appointed as the head of the Pulse and Digital Equipment Research Group
  • 10.2005 – appointed as the deputy-director of education at the Institute of Electronic Systems,
  • 12.2009 – D.Sc. obtained from alma mater,
  • 04.2011 – employed at the position of associate professor,
  • 09.2012 – appointed as a vice-dean of Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology,
  • 09.2013 – established and organized Conference on Photoacoustic and Photothermal Theory and Applications (CPPTA)
  • 09.2014 – organized 2nd CPPTA
  • 01.05-30.06.2015 – visiting scholar at Rice University (Houston, USA)
  • 09.2016 – appointed as the director of the Institute of Electronic Systems (Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology),
  • 09.2016 – organized 3rd CPPTA
  • 01.2020 – became a member of the Committee on Electronics and Telecommunications (Polish Academy of Science),
  • 02.2020 – graduated MBA studies,
  • 03.2020 – awarded the academic title of professor.
